Terms of Service

Kestrant imports financial data you provide, organizes it, and produces reports, forecasts and analysis from it. We provide the software; the data and the decisions taken from it remain yours.

Kestrant is a reporting tool, not an accountant, auditor or financial adviser. It does not verify that the figures you import are correct, complete or compliant with any accounting standard. Every calculation is performed on the data you supply.

You remain responsible for the accuracy of your financial records, for reviewing what the system produces before relying on it, and for any filing, disclosure or decision made using its output. The controls we provide — quality checks, reconciliation, approval workflows, period locking and audit trails — exist to help you exercise that responsibility, not to replace it.

You are responsible for keeping credentials secure and for the actions of users you invite. Each company has a master user who controls access; removing a person from your team is your action to take, and the audit trail records it.

Do not upload data you have no right to process, attempt to access another company's data, probe or circumvent access controls, or resell the service without a written agreement.

Subscriptions are billed in advance for the period selected. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. If payment fails we will notify you and may suspend access after a grace period; suspension does not delete your data.

We aim for high availability but do not promise uninterrupted service on standard plans. Planned maintenance is announced in advance where practical. Service level commitments, where offered, are set out in the support page.

You may cancel at any time. On termination you keep access to export your data for 30 days, after which it is deleted. We may suspend an account for non-payment or for a serious breach of these terms, and will tell you why.

To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits or business decisions taken on the basis of reports produced by the service.

We may update these terms; material changes are announced before they take effect and continued use constitutes acceptance. Governing law and venue are to be set on finalization by counsel.
